1. Sacred Devotional Privacy & Offline-First Principle

Spiritual sadhana (prayer, mantra japa, and remembrance of God) is deeply personal and sacred. We have architected Naam Jap from the ground up as an offline-first application that respects your complete spiritual sanctity.

You do not need to register an account, sign in with Google or social media, provide your legal name, telephone number, email address, or disclose any personal identity details to use 100% of the app's features.

2. Information Collection and Storage

All your spiritual progress—including your total beads counted, completed 108-bead malas, daily streak history, 40-day Sava Lakh sankalp records, and custom mantra preferences—is saved locally on your Android device using encrypted Android Jetpack DataStore.

• No Remote Cloud Upload: Your personal chanting numbers, notes, and dates are never uploaded, sold, or synced to any commercial server or external database.
• 100% Offline Operational: The entire counting engine, synthesized temple chime audio, and streak calculations execute entirely within the local app binary without any internet connection.

4. Third-Party Diagnostic Services

To ensure app stability and prevent crashes across hundreds of Android device models, the app integrates:

• Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): Collects anonymized technical stack traces and device telemetry (e.g., device model, OS version, RAM state at crash time) exclusively when an unexpected crash occurs. It does not collect user names, prayer history, or personal identifiers.
• No Advertising Networks: The chanting sanctum contains zero third-party advertising SDKs (no AdMob, no Unity Ads, no Facebook Audience Network).

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & DPDP Compliant)

Our App is safe and family-friendly for users of all ages, rated PEGI 3 / Everyone. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

6. User Data Control & Deletion

Since all chanting history is saved on your device, you have immediate and permanent control over all data:

• Reset In-App: You can reset individual session counters or anushthan streaks directly inside the app interface.
• Full Local Purge: Navigate to your phone's Settings > Apps > Naam Jap > Storage > Clear Data to permanently erase all saved counts and preferences from your device.
